SHARON E. PARKER

Sharon E. Parker is President and Resident Manager of ROASA. She has over 20 years as a Federal Government employee at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She serves as a Project Manager for developing MF Housing web-based systems. Ms. Parker is active in her community in Maryland and abroad. Ms. Parker has participated in key events throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Her specific accomplishments include:

Ms. Parker served as a mentor to young African American women in the Union Temple “Women Hood Program.” Ms. Parker was very instrumental in assisting Union Temple in sponsoring a “Jump-Off” fundraiser event to raise funds so that participants of the program could go the Ghana, Africa to serve as missionaries. Ms. Parker served as the key Event Planner/Project Manager and was successful in raising necessary funds for this much needed cause. She is proud to say that “Thanks to God,” both of her daughters got an opportunity to visit Ghana for about two weeks. (continued)
